Government Relations Committee

The Government Relations Committee will assist and advise the President of the University with advocacy initiatives on behalf of the university. Members of the committee will be responsible for coordinating with the Assistant to the President for Legislative Relations to develop strategies for supporting the president\'s legislative agenda for the university, including developing a volunteer presence in Annapolis, supporting Terrapin Pride Day, and coordinating a broad range of advocacy efforts for the board of trustees.

Members of the committee will be expected to assist in creating a list of other civic, community, business and other volunteer leadership that can be used as a resource in supporting the president\'s legislative agenda.
